It's time to send a message to our government... Stop Spending Our Money.
I have long been a small government fiscal conservative. The Federal Government was not designed to be nor did the Founding Fathers dream it would ever evolve into a bloated, inefficient, constituent ignoring, revenue inhaling entitlement distribution center.
It's time for a modern Declaration of Independence from those who serve only to further their own power. We need to return this nation to her people.
Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. -Declaration of Independence
I have no desire to see my children and grandchildren saddled with the debt from this seemingly endless stream of federal handouts. $12.7 trillion?! Where does it end? If we leave it up to the politicians in Washington it won't.
Attention Patriots! It's time for a Tea Party. The last one sent a clear message that our current 'representatives' would do well to heed.

Jesse, I just came home from a planning meeting for our tax day tea party. It will be interesting to share our pictures after the event.

It is time to stop the madness. It is like a crazy race to spend as much money as possible before the people stand up and stop him. So we need to do it and the faster we do it, the better.
And you can do it by trying to get the COngress and Senate out, Vote them out, those who let it happen, vote them out.
Jesse- We will be at our tea party downtown West Palm Beach, it will be a huge turnout here.
Point of interest:
The total entitlements come to $111 Trillion dollars!
The GDP is $14 Trillion dollars!
That means that entitlements amount to 7 times more than our output.
There is NO way that is going to work. Do the math.
BTW- Entitlements are the very things that progressives say are in the bill or rights and are NOT there!
This is beyond what our grandchildren can pay for.
Unless, they tax us like they did before, 95% Taxes, but even then they could not collect enough!
Hi Jesse - I wish you all the success many Tax Day Tea Parties are having. My husband is helping to plan one here in Medford Oregon, and a friend of mine and fellow Active Rainer Charlie Hoffmann just had their this past Saturday in Hermosa Beach, CA. Many people are not happy with the debt load our country is taking on.
I'll be at the tea party here in Portland as I can't agree more, our government has gotten out of control with spending and power!
I plan to attend the one in Nashville tomorrow. So much for "Pinheads and Patriots" segment. I will give you 3 guess who are the Pinheads and the first two don't count...

Jesse, Joe the Plummer is coming to Michigan. It is at our State Capital. They are planning on 1000 but I think it will be much more. I don't want my kids and grandkids strapped either, just on he interest payment.
The smaller the gov't the better. That is the intention of our founding Fathers.
